AmCham Mongolia and its Members Make an Intellectual Investment in Youth Development
ULAANBAATAR, Mongolia – The American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia (AmCham) organized its second annual Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, AmCham Mentor Day 2017 on April 1, 2017, at Corporate Hotel and Convention Center, with 100 university students.
AmCham Mentor Day 2017 is a day-long mentoring event that provides third and fourth year university students the opportunity to learn and hear about personal development, mentorship, and success from the leading senior executives of AmCham member companies. AmCham Mentor Day included presentations from Mr. Ch. Ganhuyag, CEO of ARD Financial Group; Mr. U. Ganzorig, CEO of Golomt Bank; Mr. L. Gantumur, Managing Director of MCS Holding LLC; Mr. Garrett Wilson, Managing Director of Wagner Asia Automotive; and Ms. N. Munkhnasan, CEO of Monpolymet Group; as well as Ms. Beatrice Camp, Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, who spoke about opportunities to study in the U.S.
AmCham Mentor Day 2017 also featured highly valuable workshops entailing career development, confidence building, teamwork, and resume development, led by the human resource directors and managers of AmCham member companies, including APIP, Cummins Mongolia, Jacobs Engineering Mongolia, Khan Bank, Golomt Bank, Oyu Tolgoi, Oriflame, PwC Mongolia, Tenger Insurance, and Wagner Asia Group.
AmCham Mongolia applauds Cummins Mongolia, Jacobs Engineering Mongolia, and Oriflame Mongolia for their commitment to investing in the development of Mongolia’s youth by sponsoring AmCham Mentor Day 2017, as well as the event’s media partners, Bloomberg TV Mongolia and Mongol TV.
