Adiya Oyungerel is the Executive Director for the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia. Adiya Oyungerel previously served as the Director of Policy and Advocacy of AmCham for two years, and was responsible for designing, building, and implementing the advocacy efforts of AmCham's policy initiatives. Adiya has extensive work experience in the private sector from his time with Oyu Tolgoi, and his employment with the government and a number of development agencies, including the EBRD, UN and SDC. Adiya holds an MBA from the University of Sheffield in the UK with a major in FDI promotion. Adiya currently sits on Mongolia’s Investment Protection Council, initiated under the auspices of the Prime Minister, as one of the council's three private sector representatives.
Director of policy and advocacy
Sunjidmaa Jamba is Director of Policy and Advocacy of AmCham. Ms. Jamba has extensive experiences working in the private sector and development institutions. She worked as Manager for Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at companies such as Anglo American and Peabody Energy, as External affairs officer for the World Bank and as Head of Mongolia office for Germany's InWEnt. In addition to the policy work, she promotes good governance, sustainable development and CSR including children’s rights and children’s reading. Ms.Jamba holds a Master of Science from Chemical Technology Institute in Prague and completed an international executive program on International Marketing and Management in Hamburg. She also holds a degree in Global Master of Arts from Fletcher School, Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
Director of Communications
Baigal Gan-Erdene is the Director of Communications for the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia responsible for all communications-related matters at AmCham. Prior to her current position, Baigal was previously the Event coordinator and worked on AmCham events. Previously, she was with the International Republican Institute in Mongolia and has experience working with various government and non-government stakeholders. Baigal holds a B.A. in Human Geography and Economics from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
Director of Events
Onon Batjargal is the Director of Events for the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia, responsible for planning and executing AmCham events and programs. Prior to joining AmCham, Onon has experience working for the EBRD and private companies including Newcom Mining Services and Tenger Insurance. She has over 8 years of extensive experience in office administration and event management. Onon holds a B.A. in Linguistics from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
Finance and Administrative Officer
Baasantsetseg Baatar is the Finance and Administrative Officer responsible for managing AmCham’s daily activities. Previously, Baasantsetseg worked as the Chief Accountant at Boroo Mining Co. Ltd, one of Mongolia’s largest mining companies. She brings to AmCham vast experiences from business and NGO sectors.
Jargaltuya Boldbaatar is the Program coordinator for the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia ans is primarily responsible for Daily Newswire and other daily administrative tasks. Prior to joining Amcham, Jargaltuya worked as an Academic affairs officer at the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology and has experience working in the private and public sectors. Jargaltuya holds a B.A. in International Economic Relations from National University of Mongolia.
