AmCham Mongolia 2018 Trade Mission to the United States
July 14, 2018 - July 19, 2018
In an effort to strengthen the commercial relationship between Mongolia and the United States, AmCham Mongolia has been hosting an annual U.S. Trade Mission to Washington D.C. since 2014.
This year’s Trade Mission will provide participating businesses the opportunity to take part in the APCAC Doorknock and a Mongolia-specific program in Washington, D.C.
APCAC Doorknock is an annual event that gives American Chamber representatives and businesses from across the Asia-Pacific region the opportunity to reinforce their connections in Washington, D.C. and share regional knowledge, as well as the chance to discuss policy issues affecting American businesses in the region. The highlight of this year’s event is meetings with members of the Trump administration, as the administration continues to focus on bilateral trade approaches for supporting and promoting U.S. business in Asia. During the meetings, business leaders from the region will be able to speak about the benefits of multilateral trade based on their on-the-ground insights.
The Mongolia-specific program will give AmCham Mongolia members and non-member companies the opportunity to connect with American counterpart companies to further develop their businesses. The program will also offer participants the chance to engage in a dialogue with key decision-makers in Washington, D.C. on issues concerning U.S. commercial engagement in Mongolia.
