Scott Schlink is a senior associate in MinterEllison Ulaanbaatar with over 12 years of global experience in construction, infrastructure and commercial advice and litigation. His principal areas of practice include construction, infrastructure, energy and resources, dispute resolution, commercial and employment law. Scott’s expertise includes advising on risk and risk profiles, tendering, structuring, drafting, contract management and dispute resolution options. Scott also brings ‘hands-on’ industry experience, having previously served as the Head of Legal at Senvion Australia (formerly REpower Australia) and Legal Counsel at Vestas Australian Wind Technology (both of who are global leaders in the wind turbine industry). Scott also served nearly three years as General Counsel to the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS). Scott is permanently based in MinterEllison’s Ulaanbaatar office and has worked full time in Mongolia for over a year. During Scott’s time in Ulaanbaatar he has been instrumental to the office’s employment, M&A, mining and commercial practice as well as advising on a number of energy, construction and infrastructure matters.
