AmCham Mongolia held its last monthly meeting of 2013 on December 17 at Ulaanbaatar Hotel. During the meeting, friends and members of AmCham Mongolia have received a briefing on the implications of the new Investment Law from the lawyers at Hogan Lovells and discussed AmCham’s advocacy priorities for 2014.
AmCham Mongolia has released its newest circular on improving the business environment, Eight Simple Steps to Make Business Set-Up Easier. The recommendations in this report are based on the practical experience of our members and reflect the idea that establishing businesses in Mongolia should be as streamlined and simple as possible – each business that is created represents an opportunity to create new jobs and generate more tax revenues.

The “Sant Maral” foundation presents the results of the June 2012 survey. The representative sample of 1000 respondents from the capital Ulan Bator and Suhebaatar, Arhangay, Selenge, Hovd aymaks (distributed proportionally by 4 regional divisions and Ulan Bator) was collected from June 6 to June 14, 2012. Tabulations are band by Ulan Bator, Countryside and Nationwide areas when necessary.
Ulaanbaatar - It was announced today that The American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia (AmCham Mongolia) has been admitted to the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC), the umbrella organization that connects the American Chambers of Commerce throughout the region.
