Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions to introduce new machinery to Mongolia's mining industry
Mongolia is set to receive its first DR412iE model from Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, making its maiden voyage all the way from Florida.
The DR412iE is a fully electric rotary blasthole drill rig designed for surface mining operations. Featuring an intelligent and versatile modular platform, it is part of Sandvik’s iE-series, which delivers the environmental benefits of electrification through electric power groups and a sophisticated electric system with a soft starter.
